Being a student
I have to say I love being a student...even better than being a teacher. If I could get hired as a full time student I would be first in line. However, it is hard being both a teacher and a student. Nights grow longer and the juggling act intensifies. What are your feelings about being the student or the teacher?

Hi Daina,
ReplyDeleteI am in total agreement about being paid to be a student! Nevertheless, I love being a student and wished that I did not have to work. Having the luxury to learn without the pressures of real life would be my ideal life.
I love your both of you slideshows and, of course, your pictures.
Hang in there!

I love being a student! Although I never thought I would say that. Thanks for the comment about teacher/librarian relationships. I have to admit that I too that I thought librarians didnt do that much. I was a 6th grade science teacher for a year so I can definitely understand both sides. It is ALOT of work to be a teacher, but a librarian has alot of work to do to. It is just different. My hope is that the teachers I work with will realize that we both have jobs and need to work together! I guess sometimes I feel underappreciated as a librarian (teachers do to).

PS. I like the picture slide show!
I love being a student, but I also love my job in education. I am the media director at my school and I love being able to encourage the students in completing homework and in doing their best! (I ask them to do what I am doing.) While growing up, I remember my dad always telling me to learn something new each day.
ReplyDeleteAlso, great pictures, Daina! You have quite a zest for life! Thanks for sharing!

I agree also! I would love to be a professional student. I am finding it hard to get back into the swing of things, since I haven't taken classes in almost 4 years! Hopefully I'll learn to juggle teaching and my classes!
ReplyDeleteGreat blog!

I think I like both. Teaching Yoga is rewarding. As a Yoga student I am humbled and feel invigorated.
ReplyDeleteI look forward to Yoga at your lavender farm:)
